■Semi's POV■

I sigh, annoyedly. Y/N is giggling next to me as we walk out of the office and heading to the bus stop 5 minutes from here. My car is broken this morning, so I put it to be repaired. 

Y/N: Cheer up Semi... they say the car isn't that bad right... it'll be fixed by tomorrow...

I look at Y/N who smiles at me, trying to cheer me up.

well, It's not that bad at all...

Well, this way I could walk together with her too. It's not bad to walk home if she's with me. Just then I feel a drop of water hits my face. I look up and see the rain suddenly pouring.

Y/N: oh no, I forgot to bring an umbrella, Let's find a shelter first Semi...

I see as she covers her head with her hands. I immediately pull her closer to me and open the side of my jacket and cover her with my jacket. Y/N looks up at me, she's flustered but like I cared.

Semi: let's go...

Y/N: Semi... you need to cover your head too

Semi: I'm fine, come on, there's a cafe nearby...

I make her run with me, under my jacket. Feeling her body pressed close to me like this, I'm kind of glad that it's raining.

We stop in front of a cafe and Y/N gets out from under my jacket. I thought she might get mad because I just put my arm around her earlier, but she pulls out her handkerchief and rubs it on my hair, Makes me crouch down a little.

Y/N: you shouldn't do that Semi... at least you need to take off your jacket so it can be used to cover the both of us...

I stare at her face as she gently rubs my hair with her handkerchief, trying to dry it a little.

Semi: You'll be drenched by the time I take off my jacket... it's more convenient...

Y/N: no it's not... You're drenched... you can get sick Semi...

■3rd Person POV■

Semi watches as Y/N looks worried for him, this makes him happy inside. If he doesn't keep his composure, he will surely pull her into a hug. 

Y/N looks inside the cafe and decided to buy something warm for the two of them.

Y/N: Semi... I'll buy us warm drinks... and... please don't refuse it... it's as thanks... thank you Semi...

Semi looks at the troubled woman in front of him and can't help but smile at the sight of her.

Semi: I'd like that...

Semi's smile makes Y/N's heart skips a beat, she immediately turns around and opens the cafe door. The two walks inside and the waiter greets them.

Y/N and Semi walk to the counter and look at the menu when the waiter offers them something.

Waiter: ah, would you like to get our special promotion... It's a buy one get 1 free hot latte...

Y/N: oh, hot latte sound good... um Semi, what about you?

Semi: that'll be nice... let's get that...

The waiter processes their order and turns around.

Y/N: what kind of specials offer is this?

Waiter: oh... it's a couple's discount... we're having this offer until the end of the month, so if you and your boyfriend come again you can still get this offer..

y/N could feel that her cheeks grew warm. The waiter must misunderstand them because they walk together. Then Y/N feels a hand on her shoulder and looks back at Semi who puts his finger on his lips, telling her to keep quiet.

The waiter gives them their drinks and the two walk to a vacant seat near the entrance.

Y/N: she... misunderstand us...

Semi looks at the flustered Y/N. To be honest, he feels happy knowing that someone thought that Y/N and he are together.

Semi: it's okay... it's a good misunderstanding...

Y/N looks up and sees a smiling Semi sipping his latte.

Semi: we got a discount right...

Semi giggles, sending warm feelings through Y/N's body. She looks down at her latte and then smiles too.

Y/N: you... right...

The two gigglings together, waiting for the rain to stop while talking inside the warm cafe.

■Y/N's POV■

Semi and I are sitting at the bus stop, waiting for our bus to arrive. Right after the rain stopped falling, Semi and I walk out of the cafe and head here. 

The bus came and Semi let me get in before him. Thankfully there aren't many passengers right now so we both could sit. I sit next to the window while Semi sits next to me.

To be honest, I still couldn't forget what the waiter from that cafe said earlier. How she gave us a couple's special offers. I steal a glance at Semi, he's a bit drenched from covering me from the rain before. 

My chest feels tight remembering Semi's face when he pulls me under his jacket and protects me from the rain. Memories from when we're together back in high school came to me.

No... don't...

I shook my head internally and look out of the window, trying to distract my mind from thinking about Semi. 

Semi: Thanks for the treat Y/N... I'll get you back some other time...

I look back at Semi as he's smiling at me. His smile entices me, after all, Semi is a very good looking young man. I wonder, whether if Semi actually has a lover or not?

Why would you think about that...

I shook my head internally again and smile at him.

Y/N: you don't have to Semi... you helped me today so...

Semi: but I want to... so, another day, let me treat you back... 

I can't say no when he looks at me with that tender gaze. It's suffocating, my heart is pounding loudly inside my chest.

Y/N: o-okay...

I look down trying to get my head straight, but I grew sleepy instead. I tried to stay awake but the sleepiness makes my eyes closed.

■3rd Person POV■

Semi hears a small thud and he looks at Y/N. She falls asleep and her head bumps into the bus window. Just before her head bumps into the window again, Semi places his hand on her head and brought her to rest her head on his shoulder instead.

Semi looks at Y/N who's sleeping peacefully on his shoulder. The sight makes his heart flutter, and he smiles while admiring her face.

Semi: aren't you a little too defenseless? If I know you like to fell asleep during a bus ride like this, I wouldn't let you go without me... some guys might take advantage of it...

Semi moves a strand of her hair behind her ear and touches her cheek gently, trying to not wake her up.

Semi: even I... could take advantage of you and touching you like this...

Semi takes another strand of her hair, pulls it gently to his lips, and kisses it.

The bus finally arrived at the bus stop near their apartment. Semi shakes Y/N's body softly, trying to wake her up. Y/N slowly opens her eyes and looks up to see Semi's face so close to her.

Semi: hey... we're here...

Y/N then realizes what kind of position they're in. She's resting her head on Semi's shoulder. Y/N immediately stands up and bows to Semi.

Y/N: Semi... i uh... I'm sorry I...

Semi places a hand on her head, making her look up.

Semi: let's get off...

Y/N nods and the two get off of the bus and walk to their apartment. Y/N's heart is beating so fast, she's blushing. When they're in front of their own door, Y/N calls out on Semi.

Y/N: Semi....

Semi looks back at the flustered girl.

Y/N: t-thank you for today.... uh... sorry for resting my head on your shoulder... th- thank you....

Semi smiles looking at the blushing woman in front of him. 

Semi: Y/N...

Y/N looks up at Semi. Semi is staring gently at her, and she's drawn into his eyes.

Semi: let's go to work together tomorrow... okay?

Y/N clenches the hem of her shirt. She knew if she hangs around him too often, she'll get him stuck in her head just like today. But, she wants to be around him even though they're only neighbors, only colleagues.

Y/N: yes...

Semi smiles at her and then the two finally walk back into their own apartment.

Y/N is dipping her body in the tub.... her head is filled with Semi...

Semi is, laying on his bed... looking at a certain photo on his desk...

The two, have each other on their mind...

But their past prevents them from expressing it...
